Rumors of one more match in WWE for Bill Goldberg have simmered for years and always seem to ramp up around WrestleMania time. This year was no different, and the rumors have persisted since WrestleMania 30. Now, the man himself has addressed the possibility.

Goldberg appeared on Jim Ross' podcast, The Ross Report, and clarified his position about stepping back into the ring:

"My last conversation with WWE brass, which was a while ago, was to the effect of I have a seven-year-old son who would love to see me wrestle and whatever differences we've had in the past, if you guys want to make some money and do this again, then I'd then be willing to talk about it. That is my answer."

As for a possible opponent, Goldberg suggested Triple H, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Rumors of backstage problems between him and Triple H have persisted since Goldberg's initial WWE run in 2003-04. "Hunter and I will always have unfinished business until the day I die," he said.

Goldberg also said he and Lesnar still communicate. "I talk to Brock frequently and we don't talk business," he said when touching upon Lesnar's victory over the Undertaker at WrestleMania 30. He also made clear that he does not watch the current WWE product and does not talk about wrestling when he speaks to former co-workers. Finally, he called the buildup to and execution of his match with Lesnar at WrestleMania 20 "piss poor."

As for Reigns, the two share the somewhat common bond of playing college football in Georgia. Goldberg played for the University of Georgia Bulldogs, while Reigns played for the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets. Goldberg went on to play for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL.

But the man made it clear that the quality of the match supersedes the identity of the opponent.

"Whoever it is, I don't care," Goldberg said. "As long as it makes sense, then I'm in for it."
