HBO's Game of Thrones features incredible dialogue and action, but the locations and sets are what truly bring the world of Westeros to life. The show films on location in several spots around the world, and Spain could soon join the list.

EW.com reports Game of Thrones wants to film part of Season 5 in Spain and is currently scouting locations in the Andalucia region of the country. The show is also "deep in talks" with a local film commission.

Spain would be the seventh country in which GoT has shot on location. The main base of operations is at Titanic Studios in Belfast, Northern Ireland, a former shipyard where the famously ill-fated luxury ship was constructed more than 100 years ago. The show has also filmed in Croatia, mostly for King's Landing scenes, and Iceland, mostly for scenes North of The Wall. GoT has also shot in Morocco and Malta, primarily for the Slaver's Bay cities in Essos and briefly in the United States for the bear pit scene.

It's unclear at this point which location from George R.R. Martin's novels Spain would depict, but those who have read the books will likely have a few guesses.

In other GoT news, the show once again tied its series high in viewership with the latest Season 4 offering, "Mockingbird." The episode hauled in 7.2 million viewers for its 9 p.m. premiere and 8.5 million viewers for the night. This marked the fourth time this season the show had broken or tied a series high.
