The tragic massacre at UCSB last week, has left 6 people dead, and 13 wounded by the hands of 22-year-old Elliot Rodger.

According to KDVR, the former Santa Barbara City College student fatally stabbed three college students in his apartment- George Chen, 19, Cheng Yuan Hong, 20, and Weihan Wang, 20.

Two young University of California, Santa Barbara women were fatally shot outside of the Alpha Phi sorority house. Their names were Katherine Cooper, 22, and Veronika Weiss, 19; the two girls were members of the Delta Delta Delta sorority at UCSB.

Rodger's sixth victim was 20-year-old Christopher Martinez, who was getting a sandwich at a deli when he was shot dead.

According to TMZ, the massacre was planned after Rodger's confessed in a manifesto that women would not have sex with him. He was upset and angry at females, as well as his roommates, a friend of Rodgers mentioned.

The source said that Rodgers recently had some issues with his roommates, "complaining to his landlord that his roommates were too noisy and played lots of video games."

MStars has also learned that the shooter was connected to the hit film, Hunger Games.

According to TMZ, the 22-year-old is the son of Peter Rodger, the second unit director of the first installment of Hunger Games.

TMZ noted that  a lawyer for Peter Rodger says the director contacted police a few weeks ago about YouTube clips that his 22-year-old son, Elliot Rodger had uploaded discussing "suicide and killing people."

The Associated Press says the lawyer working with Elliot claimed that the shooter was interviewed by police, as they assumed that Elliot was "perfectly polite, kind and wonderful human."

"My client's mission in life will be to try to prevent any such tragedies from ever happening again," the lawyer said. Adding, "This country, this world, needs to address mental illness and the ramifications from not recognizing these illnesses."

Rodger's was killed as when he was involved in a shoot out with Sheriff's deputies working the scene. The 22-year-old apparently died from a gunshot wound to the head. No details have been released on if the gunshot was self-inflicted.
