New 'The Leftovers' Promotional Poster Showcases Anger, Despair In HBO's Damon Lindelof Series Premiering June 29, 2014 [PHOTO]

HBO released the marketing poster pictured above in anticipation of the June 29, 2014, release date of the new premium channel drama, and we can already tell that we're in for a crazy ride with this new series from Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof. Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler, Chris Zylka, Margaret Qualley, Carrie Coon, Emily Meade, Amanda Warren, Ann Dowd, Michael Gaston, Max Carver, Charlie Carver, and Annie Q. star in this highly anticipated show.

In a recent interview with the LA Times, Lindelof opened up about Theroux's character, Kevin Garvey (pictured in the marketing poster above).

"It's a very hard part because he's not a character who talks in these grandiose terms about his interior emotional life," he said. "He's not diagnosed with lung cancer and dealing meth, or so kind of corrupt cop who goes around beating people up."

We're sure there's much more to the character than that, so we're going to be paying attention on June 29 when the series premier airs!
