Some divorce court drama for Bethenny Frankel.

The former star of The Real Housewives of New York is in a pretty heated divorce and custody battle. The reality star is looking to gain primary custody of her daughter Bryn. Her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, who filed for joint custody, isn't looking to let that happen anytime soon.

The 4-year-old daughter is in the center of the mess, after Frankel filed for a divorce, earlier last year. In her testimony, she recalls a very heartbreaking interaction between her and Jason citing him saying "I'm going to destroy you. I'm going to have you and your publicist crying and crumbling in a corner. Now you're going to see what I was like on the basketball court." The confession had Frankel in tears, having to stop before continuing.

Most of the court proceeding was spent between the two arguing over who would make the better parent. Bernard Clair, Hoppy's lawyer, tells the judge "Bethenny Frankel's priority is Bethenny Frankel. In pursuit of career success, she used the child as a prop."

However, the talk show host tells the court that Jason was the one who was trying to advance his career by using her and her reality show.

The case even turned to what Jason is feeding Bryn and what religious he is trying to bring her up in.

"When the marriage was over, he started feeding Bryn bacon and a lot of animal proteins, which was not discussed with me," Frankel reports. She also claims that when it came to religion they agreed that going to church on the high holidays was to be the extent to her religious experience.

A source reveals to PEOPLE that Hoppy "was one way on camera and one way off camera," and that he hopes "to destroy [Bethenny] and her entire career."

The insider also states that Frankel "wanted to settle out of court but some of his demands were absolutely insane that no mother would ever agree. He sought the limelight and he basked in it."

As far as when this courtroom drama will be over, Bernard Clair, Jason's lawyer, told the magazine that the couple has a long road ahead of them saying, "It's the first mile of a marathon."
