Marvel Comics will unleash a terrible secret from Star-Lord's past in writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Ed McGuinness' Guardians of the Galaxy #19. With the truth revealed, none of the Guardians will be able to follows orders from their leader ever again.

In the Marvel Universe, there was a period of time where Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, was missing. While the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy thought their space leader was dead, Star-Lord was actually stranded in the Cancerverse, alongside Thanos and Richard Rider, the former Nova. Though references have been made, Thanos and Star-Lord have remained silent about what actually happened in the Cancerverse.

All is finally revealed in Guardians of the Galaxy #18. Fans will be asking themselves, why is Nova siding with Thanos?

Secrets are finally revealed in the Original Sin tie-in, Guardians of the Galaxy #19. In the crossover event, Original Sin, someone has murdered The Watcher and gouged out his all-seeing eyes. The Watcher's eyes have seen every shocking secret committed by the major Marvel characters. From Marvel's official Twitter, check out McGuinness' cover to Guardians of the Galaxy #19:

If you notice in the cover, Star-Lord appears to be strangling the beaten-up Nova. Did Quill commit murder in the Cancerverse, in order to save himself and escape from the alternate reality? Did Thanos watch the two superheroes battle each other to the brink of death?

Original Sin #1 is already out in stores now! Peter Quill's secrets will be revealed when Guardians of the Galaxy #18 hits stores in August.
