What is it with celebrities changing their hair color to blue these days? First Keeping up with the Kardashians reality TV star Kylie Jenner paints her hair to a darker navy tint. Now Machete Kills actress Vanessa Hudgens adds some blue streaks to her long hair strands.

Who knew Jenner was actually starting a fashion trend with her hair makeover? Hudgens added some blue hues to her tips and then took a self-portrait of herself with her new hairdo. The Bandslam starlet then added a sapphire flower crown to match her new style.

I do have to admit, she does look stunning with the flower crown on top of her head.

Beside her photo, the Spring Breakers star quotes an excerpt from Janet Fitch's best-selling novel, White Oleander, "She would be half a planet away, floating in a turquoise sea, dancing by moonlight to flamenco guitar."

Why did the young actress change her hair color? I never read White Oleander, so I don't know what that particular quote is supposed to mean. Maybe the Sucker Punch action star made the new 'do because she was actually going to a party.
