You might be wondering where we got the list of the 2013-2014 most tweeted about TV shows, well we just have to say that... a little birdy told us.
Nielsen just released the list of Twitter's most trending shows of the past year, and we were surprised to see last year's winner fall down three spots even after its shocking season finale.
The king of social media goes to Walter White, who lead Breaking Bad to take home the top honor. The show also had the greatest reach after the series finale mesmerized 9.1 million Twitter users.
Other noteworthy list entries include The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Teen Wolf.
Without further ado we give you the top ten.
1. Breaking Bad
2. The Walking Dead
3. Pretty Little Liars
4. The Bachelor
5. Game of Thrones
6. Teen Wolf
7. American Horror Story: Coven
8. Scandal
9. The Voice
10. Dancing With the Stars
Juan Pablo's antics on this past season of The Bachelor helped the show land in the top ten, while The Voice's live tweeting from the coaches and instant Twitter saves, gained the show the ninth spot on the list. The singing competition also took home the honor of having the most fans tweet about a single episode. The May 13 episode earned about 310,000 tweets per minute.
The list data was generated between September 1, 2013 through May 25, 2014.
It's awesome to see that some of these shows made the list even though their whole seasons weren't broadcasted during that time period including Pretty Little Liars, and Game of Thrones.
Keep those tweets coming!!
