Production on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is underway in Michigan, and we've already seen a few pictures of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman thanks to the magic of Twitter. According to a new report, some heavy action scenes could be filmed in the coming days.

Man of Steel Fan Page reports extras with military backgrounds will film next Wednesday:

"In April, Crown City Pictures held a casting event in Detroit recruiting thousands of extras for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which began principal photography in May. Of the thousands, the casting call was specifically looking for men and women who were military and business executive types. The call resulted in a very successful showing from area residents, upwards of thousands upon thousands, submitting their application for a chance to be in the largest movie to ever film in Michigan.

Extras from that audition have been called for fittings. Production is only calling up those with an actual military background (at this time.) They will report on June 11, 2014 and filming will take place all day and into the evening."

The actual content of the scenes is unclear at this time but if the military is involved, then the footage would likely contain at least some action.

What sort of scenes do you think the crew will film next week with so many military characters involved? Will it be a heavy action scene, or will these people just serve as bodies to stand in the background? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
