Homeland has added yet another actor to its Season 4 ranks, as Life of Pi star Suraj Sharma has joined the Showtime drama.

Sharma, a New Delhi native, will have a recurring role as Aayan Ibraham, "a Pakistani medical student who crosses paths with Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes)," according to EW.com. The actor can currently be seen in Million Dollar Arm alongside Jon Hamm.

This is the second piece of casting news for Homeland in as many days, as news broke Wednesday that House of Cards alum Corey Stoll and Bored to Death's Laila Robins would join the show.

Robins will be a series regular and will play Martha Boyd, the United States Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The character is "professional" and "put together," according to TVLine. Golden Globe nominee Stoll will guest star as Sandy Bachman, the CIA Chief of Station in Pakistan.

Season 4 "will find Carrie assigned to one of the most volatile and dangerous CIA stations in the Middle East where she is back on the front lines in the war on terror."

Many fans of the show were upset, even outraged, at the series when Homeland made the controversial decision to kill off Nicholas Brody in its Season 3 finale. The choice divided the fans, as some understood the sacrifice for the sake of the plot, while others were upset at the loss of the most interesting character (and perhaps best actor) on the show.
