Jesse Eisenberg will portray Superman's arch nemesis, Lex Luthor, in Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Fans have known this for several months, but have yet to catch a glimpse of the actor or character during filming, which is currently underway in Michigan.

That might soon change, though, as Batman-News reports scenes involving Lex Luthor's company, LexCorp, will be filmed next Thursday and Friday, June 12 and 13, with Eisenberg on set as Lex. The site also claims to have some information about LexCorp's portrayal in the film:

"A source close to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has informed me that production is heading to LexCorp next week. In Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, LexCorp is described as a young, edgy company. Think of it as a .com or Google type workplace. It's a smart company with a stylish vibe, a youthful clash of rock and roll, preppy, and nerdy employees. Hipsters!"

Some fans might scoff at this idea, but Man of Steel focused on modernizing Superman and his world, so it makes sense the sequel would do the same for LexCorp. Consider that back in February, fans learned Lex Luthor could be a former tattooed street punk.

Eisenberg also explained to MTV News last month why he took the part in a major blockbuster after his previous work in films such as The Social Network and Adventureland.

"It's important to be in those big things," he said. "I happen to want to do this movie because the character is awesome, but it's also important to be in those for some kind of longevity."

Lex Luthor is one of the most dark and complex characters in comic books, so Eisenberg will have plenty of material to work with once he gets underway. And based on his comments, he's looking forward to it.

"The character is, luckily, a really great character," he said. "Actors can sometimes find really cool things in characters that aren't written well. This character is written really well."
