The San Antonio Spurs plan to get revenge on the Miami Heat this year, avenging their 2013 loss, and winning another NBA title. The Spurs couldn't control Heat's superstar LeBron James, but luckily a cramp problem helped them out in their time of need. The Spurs were impressive and took game 1, but was LeBron's cramp and a faulty air conditioning system to blame?

Great teams often look for excuses as to why they occasionally fail to win, and the Heat have two, in LeBron's cramp and the air conditioning system. LeBron missed vital minutes of their 110-95 loss, and the Heat seemed exhausted throughout with the arena's air conditioning not working. LeBron left the game with 25 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in the 33 minutes he played.

Whilst James sat out, the Spurs began to dominate. James was heartbroken. He explained "It sucks at this point in time in the season. After I came out of the game, they kinda took of. It was frustrating sitting out and not being able to help our team. ... It's frustration and anger." Was this a viable excuse, or are the Heat being a sore loser?

If the Spurs were to win game 2, could the Heat find a way back? Will LeBron be healthy when it matters? It's going to be an interesting series, that's for sure. With the Spurs' home advantage still intact, it'd be hard to see them slipping up. The Spurs have already proven they are by far the toughest team the Heat have faced in the 2014 NBA playoffs.
