Rafael Nadal Dominates Andy Murray In French Open Semi-Finals: Can Nadal Top Novak Djokovic In The French Open Final?

After winning both a US Open and Wimbledon title, Andy Murray has been left waiting to add the Australian Open and French Open titles to his collection, but he has lost out on the latter once again. Murray eased his way in to a semi-final clash against Rafael Nadal, but the Spaniard is known for his French Open performances. Murray seemed to never get started, with Nadal brushing him aside, winning 6-3 6-2 6-1. Nadal will now face Novak Djokovic, who beat Ernests Gulbis in four sets.

Murray made no excuses for his poor showing, as he explained "He played a great match. He missed hardly any balls. He served very well. His forehand - especially with the conditions the way they were today - it was was incredibly hard to control the ball. As soon as he was inside the court, he was hitting the ball so close to the line. He played great tennis."

Nadal remained as humble as ever. After his win he said "I think I played very well with my forehand," said Nadal. "I think it was important to serve the way that I served today. It's true that for a player like Andy - he's a big returner - that he made more mistakes than usual on the return. He's a player I do admire quite a lot. He is a player who is just recovering from an injury and he's had very good results. He's somebody I know very well on a personal level. He's a beautiful person."
