The English Premier League transfer window is hotting up with each and every day. Many teams are trying to get some transfer business completed by the start of next week's World Cup, meaning they are pulling out all of the stops to get the deals as close to completion as possible. Which players are set for moves in the near future?
Top clubs Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are set to fight it out with Paris St-Germain for Real Sociedad's winger, Antonie Griezmann, who looks to be sold before the World Cup begins. Arsenal may be focused elsewhere as they are desperate to sign Loic Remy of QPR, who spent last season on loan at Newcastle United. Remy is believed to prefer a move to Arsenal above any other options that may come his way.
Tom Ince was rumoured to follow in his father's steps, by joining Inter Milan. Legendary player Paul Ince insisted that the Milan club were interested, but today Tom claimed to reject the move in favour of an EPL move. It's believed he's interested in joining Tottenham, Everton or Newcastle, but has yet to make up his mind.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa are in talks with ex-Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand, whilst Liverpool are in talks to sign Bayern Munich player Xherdan Shaqiri. Chelsea's young striker Romelu Lukaku has reportedly asked to leave, too.
What deals will be completed before the World Cup starts? Will these players get their moves, or will they have to wait another month or two?
