Halved nail colors add pops of color while boasting your creativity. You can try this look with any color combination you would enjoy.

To begin this look, make sure your nails are clean and filed to a rounded tip. Feel free to shape your nails in your preferred style.

Once filed, coat your nails with a base polish. This can be a strengthening base coat or your favorite clear polish. I chose to begin using OPI's Nail Envy after hearing rave reviews online. You can get this polish at any beauty supply like Ulta or Sally Beauty Supply.

When your base coat dries completely, apply a small piece of Scotch Tape along the middle of your nail. Press the tape firmly on your nail to guarentee leaks will not sneak under to the other side of your nail.

Apply two coats of your Pink Nail Polish to the bare side of your nail. Allow the polish to dry before applying your second coat.

After your pink polish has dried, gently remove the tape from your nail.

Use your initial half to guide you in applying your Gold Nail Polish. Apply two coats of your gold polish to the bare half of the nail. Allow this polish to dry.

Apply a clear top coat to finish this manicure.
