Nicki Minaj recently went back to her homeland Trinidad to shoot some footage for the music video "Pound the Alarm."  A behind the scenes clip was revealed on Rapradar showing a glimpse of the journey.

"We're at the 'Pound the Alarm' video shoot, in my homeland, where I was born. We're here baby," said Minaj in the video.  Minaj is seen dancing in a festive red feathered costume.  Screaming fans show their excitement  for their idol.

The rapper was in Trinidad in 2010 to film an MTV documentary in the same exact location.

"I never thought in a million years I would ever do this.  The last time I came to Trinidad, this was the exact room that I stayed in. This is where we shot "My Time Now" for MTV. My whole family came in," Minaj reflected on the amazing journey she's been through.  She turned her face away from the camera to control her emotions from spilling out.

Throughout the teaser video, Minaj sports sequined bra tops and daisy dukes for the upcoming music video.

"Yo what's good Nicki? Thanks for being in Trinidad. I know this video is gonna be very hot," said a male fan.
