Using tape for precision, this tilted design will have heads turning.

To begin this look, make sure your nails are clean and filed to a rounded tip. Feel free to shape your nails in your preferred style.

Once filed, coat your nails with a base polish. This can be a strengthening base coat or your favorite clear polish. I chose to begin using OPI's Nail Envy after hearing rave reviews online. You can get this polish at any beauty supply like Ulta or Sally Beauty Supply.

Starting with the first diagonal, apply two strips of Scotch Tape on an angle onto your nail. As always, you're going to want to make sure the tape is completely secure before applying paint. Apply two coats of Blue Nail Polish to the bare nail. Allow the polish to dry, remove the tape, and apply a top coat. in the upper-right side of the newly bare nail, apply two coats of Gold Nail Polish.

Finish this look off with a final application of a clear top coat.

You can try this look with any combination of your favorite nail polishes. Feel free to play around with the direction of the diagonals. You can experiment with having them face inward or outward, whichever will suit your preferences.

Will you be trying this look this Summer? Do you have any color combinations you're thinking about trying? Let us know in the comments below!
