The World Cup is just days away, yet Premier League clubs are working hard to land some of the biggest stars that will be in Brazil for the tournament. What players are heading to the English Premier League? It looks like hundreds of millions may be spent by many teams this summer, but will they live to regret these decisions?

Manchester United have been linked with a $90 million bid for Paul Pogba of Juventus. In normal circumstances this would be a sublime piece of business for the club, however, considering he was a United youth player, and let go for free, that would be a humiliating piece of business, although a beneficial move, too.

It seems United aren't done with just Pogba. Louis Van Gaal has hinted that he would like to sign Juventus' Arturo Vidal, who is widely regarded as one of the best midfield players around. Vidal is wanted by Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Bayern Munich. Can United land Pogba or Vidal, or are they aiming too high?

Didier Drogba is set for a return to Chelsea, which will boost their striking options. Manchester City will want to keep ahead of them, and are looking to buy Real Madrid defender Pepe, but it's believed it would cost them around $40 million. Manchester City will not be keeping one player, and it's believed around 5-7 EPL clubs are going to fight it out for the signature of free agent and Ex-England international Gareth Barry, but where will he end up?

Hold on to your seat, it's going to be a long summer's ride for soccer fans.
