Carrie Underwood opened up her heart in an interview with "The Morning Show" in Australia while on her Blown Away tour.  One honest confession "The Good Girl" singer made was that she has stopped listening to her own songs for some time.

"In the beginning, when you make the album, you just want to make sure everything's perfect.  So I do listen to it quite a bit in the beginning, and then after that, it's like, 'I don't want to hear myself anymore.' It's weird," the country star admitted.

That doesn't mean the she doesn't like her own music.  She loves her songs and loves what she does and is especially devoted to bringing good country music that everyone can enjoy and appreciate.

"You have people like Keith Urban (with) more rock influence, a lot of guitar, more musicianship. You have people that are more on the pop contemporary side. You have really traditional country artists, and I feel like I'm somewhere in the middle of all of that," Underwood shared.  "I want to make country music that everybody can like."

The 29-year old just celebrated her two year anniversary with husband Mike Fisher. In Hollywood calculations, two years is pretty darn good.  The touring and amazing success career-wise has taken a toll on the singer though.

"I don't get to see my dad too much or go home as much as I used to.  That's probably the hardest part. There's so many wonderful things about my life now. Everything is different. My life has done a complete turnabout...but, yeah, the travel and not getting to see the family is kind of the hardest part."
