It looks like Selena Gomez is ready to come back fighting in more ways than one.

Reports have been claiming that while Justin Bieber and the "Come & Get It" singer have broken up, she is still angry with him for what he has made her deal with post-breakup.

Bieber, who has been the center of controversy lately for his racist comments and his illegal antics, often cited that the only reason Selena was where she was in her career was because of his help.

An insider for Hollywood Life claims that Justin would often remind the Disney darling of the fact that her career saw a rise after the two began dating.

"Justin said more than once that without him she never would have made it this far so she really, really wants to prove him wrong. She's in fighter mode right now, so that's helping her cope with her broken heart. She even put Katy Perry's song "Roar" as her ringtone, she's very motivated to prove how successful she can be without him."

While Selena says she still sees "the good" in Justin she's ready to prove that she doesn't need any help from him when it comes to her career.

It is reported that the singer is ready to prove it to herself that she has what it takes to bring her acting career to a new level.

The gossip site is claiming that she has been thinking about joining a superhero movie something with either DC or Marvel. She feels that the experience that one of these films would bring to her career would be incredibly.

The site goes on to report that "the exposure it would bring to her career, the chance to work with amazing ensemble cast, amazing directors would only make her career thrive and she also wants to show that she isn't just another Disney girl, she wants to branch out."
