Director David Ayer's next film is a World War II epic starring Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Bernthal, Michael Pena and Scott Eastwood entitled Fury. This gritty film is one of the most anticipated war films of recent time, so when a behind-the-scenes featurette debuted this week at the 2014 E3 conference we knew we had to share it with you.

This featurette offers the first footage from the film, accurately showcasing the dyer conditions of World War II and the tank crew that we're following throughout. The stars of the film chime in during the featurette, explaining why this film is going to be important and pointing out how it will captivate audiences in theaters.

With Pitt leading the cast, it looks like he might be in for yet another Best Actor nomination for the Academy Awards next year. Perhaps one of his supporting cast members will get a nod as well. From what we can tell from this first look, Fury is going to be one of the best movies of the year.

Watch the featurette here:

Here is the official synopsis for this new movie:

April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

With this featurette already released, expect an official trailer sometime soon. Fury hits theaters on November 14, 2014.
