Tracy Morgan Dead [Rumors]: Twitter Fans Slam Death News After #RIPTracyMorgan Trends

Tracy Morgan's fans react to false death rumors that were trending on Twitter Tuesday.

Tuesday, reports of the 45-year-old actor's leg being amputated started swirling until the former SNL star's family denied the crazy reports in a statement.

 "Tracy remains in critical but stable condition. His fiancée Megan is by his side. The concern for his well-being has been overwhelming, but Megan is respectfully asking that the media await official word through these channels before speculating (mostly inaccurately) on his condition. Rumors about amputating his leg are completely fabricated.

As we shared yesterday. Tracy had surgery on his broken leg. We are working closely with the incredible staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital to share information when it is available. This recovery will be arduous and we hope that you can be patient during this difficult time. Thank you."

Saturday, the funny man was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Centre in New Brunswick, New Jersey after the crash that left his friend and passenger, James McNair, dead at the scene. 

Reports of a tractor trailer slamming the limo from the back allegedly caused the Mercedes Limo to hit several cars causing a major chain collision.

The Truck driver, Kevin Roper has been charged for the accident.
