Michelle Williams And The Rest Of Destiny's Child Reunite; Williams Says Beyonce Is An "Amazing Wife And Mother" Despite Beyonce and Jay-Z Divorce Rumors

Destiny's Child singer, Michelle Williams is back, and she's bringing along her former Destiny's Child sisters, Beyonce and Kelly Rowland for the featured track "Say Yes" on her upcoming solo album, Journey to Freedom.

"It was time, you know," Williams, 33, said when talking to US Weekly in an interview about collaborating with her R&B girl group sisters.

She continued, "We always let each other listen to our music in advance. They heard 'Say Yes' and were like, 'Right now is the time for Destiny's Child to make a single.'" The process was surprisingly simple, in fact. "No red tape, none of that," Williams said.

Williams revealed that "Say Yes" as an "old African song that's been around for about 100 years." She stumbled across the song after her producer Harmony Samuels, a Nigerian, told Williams one day, "Michelle, you've got to do this song."

"I'm so glad that I did it," Williams added. "Of course, it features Kelly and Beyonce on there, which just adds more amazingness to it."

Michelle also revealed that nothing has really changed since the group disbanded in 2005. In fact she says the ladies of Destiny's Child are still close.

We also shared the wonderful news that William's friend, and band mate, Kelly was expecting her first child, with her new husband and manager, Tim Witherspoon

Williams also thinks the Beyonce is an amazing mother to her daughter, Blue Ivy. She noted, "As far as Beyonce's concerned, it's amazing to see her be an amazing wife and mother."

"Everybody's their own woman doing their own thing," Williams said.

When asked about reuniting and recording in the studio with Beyonce and Kelly, Williams said, "It was so much fun. No matter what, with our three voices together, there's no harmony like that." She added, "That blend that we [have]... there's something spiritual about it."

The only change that these women are going through is "growth" and "confidence," according to the singer. Journey to Freedom will be William's fourth solo studio album.
