TMZ has obtained footage from the car accident that left Tracy Morgan in critical condition and that claimed the life of comedian James McNair.

Since posting the video the celebrity gossip site has been receiving a lot of flack for uploading it. Friends and colleagues of Morgan and McNair demanded that the site show some compassion by taking the video down. Louis C.K., Judd Apatow, and Dax Shepard are just a few of the comedian's friends who have spoken out about the graphic video.

The video, which was taken by a bystander of the New Jersey Turnpike accident, shows fellow funny man Ardie Fuqua being dragged out of the upturned limo, unconscious. Fuqua was traveling with Morgan as an opening act for his comedy show. He was also featured on C.K.'s FX series Louie. In defense of his friend, Louis tweeted, "Take it down TMZ. Now. Please," in reference to the footage.

He followed up the tweet with two more.

"Ur all crashing the Link to story. TMZ has a video of footage of my friends Tracy and Arte in a terrible crash. They are in ICU. Arte's brave daughter asked them to take it down. They won't."

"Please don't go to TMZ to watch the video. Please ask them to take it down. @TMZ."

Louis also tweeted a link to what Fuqua's daughter Krizya wrote on her Instagram page, coercing TMZ to take the footage down.

"I honestly would like to petition for TMZ to remove this video," Krizya writes on the social media site. "They don't understand how hurtful it is to see my father be dragged out of the wreckage. Along with all the false information on his condition. I understand people want to know about people want to be updated, but enough is enough. This is hurting my heart so bad that this video is posted for all to see. No one should see my father this way. All I ask is to kindly be left alone so that way my father and everyone else can recover in peace. Enough is enough. Please TMZ remove this video."

Fellow comedians Apatow and Shepard also put pressure on the site to take the video down. Judd tweets, "@HarveryLevinTMZ please take down the accident video," whilst Dax writes, "@TMZ is our worst cultural offering. It's just a click below "Ow My Balls."

The video is still currently on TMZ and no comment has been released from them as of right now.
