Valentine's Day in the prison means a lot of questions are going around.

Vee (Lorraine Toussaint)  is working to get Taystee (Danielle Brooks) to get on the maintenance crew while Jimmy continues to wander around senselessly the prison.  Vee is successful, but Jimmy appears to be getting more and more delirious.

Poussey's (Samira Wiley) backgound is explored and it turns out she was a military brat before she wound up in prison.  Located in Germany and in love with a German military brat, Poussey was caught with her pants down with her German girlfriend by her strict, homophobic father.  A higher ranking officer than Poussey's father, the command was issued that Poussey and her father had to go back to the United States.  With the idea of an ocean between her and her lover, Poussey almost pulled a gun on the father but her own father stopped her before she committed that crime.

It turns out Poussey is not just "gay of the stay," as Vee would have assumed.

With all of Vee's crew taking over custodial, the girls learn Vee has a master plan to smuggle tobacco into the prison and to distribute through the custodial channels.  When Poussey confronts Vee about getting Taystee involved in the smuggling business, Poussey threatens her.  Vee fires back with saying that Taystee will never love her and that Poussey should get over it sooner than later.

Poussey knocks Vee's accusation off by saying she isn't into Taystee like that, but it's pretty obvious that she has a deep love for Taystee.  However, she knows that Taystee is straight and has a devout loyaty to Vee.  This blind loyalty mirrors Poussey's past relationship, with the end result being that Poussey will need to separate herself from the person she loves in order to save herself the heartache.

Speaking of heartache, Larry (Jason Biggs) visits Piper (Taylor Schilling) and she tells him she wants her home when she gets out (home meaning their home).  He asks her if that's what she really wants, if Future Piper would really want that.  He then asks her about fake vendors the prison might have because a reporter on the outside, which shows Piper that Larry is just looking for a new lead on a story.  His writing career obviously isn't getting the lift he expected from the radio show and it's doubtful he will ever be successful.

Larry and his ambition will always be a disappointment.  What's even more disappointing is when he, on the way to drop Piper's stuff of at Polly's (Maria Dizzia) apartment, makes a move on Polly by passionately kissing her and declaring he's more than a moon to Piper's sun.

When Nicky Nichols (Natasha Lyonne) and Piper are doing a repair in shop, Nicky gives a hint to Piper that there may be some kind of fraud happening in the prison because she often makes the same repairs throughout the prison.  This gets Piper's gears turning and she asks CO Joel Luschek (Matt Peters) about the budget and how the money is being spent.  After getting a roundabout answer, Piper begins scheming and we can all expect trouble is brewing when she begins scheming.

Dayanara Diaz (Dascha Polanco) and CO John Bennent (Matt McGorry) are on and off again about being together and where their future is headed.  She's in prison and he's a prison guard.  The rest of the Latinas begin hitting him up to get items from the outside and he has to contemplate what it would mean to really be with Dayanara.  Will her family always be demanding things from him?  Will they ever have a "normal" life?

As far as good news for the inmate, Nicky and Carrie "Big Boo" Black (Lea DeLaria) reach a tie in their sex-pedition and agree to call a end to their game.  Both are exhausted and disgusted with themselves for stooping to the depths of the prison sexual landscape for fake points that will only reward bragging points to the winner.

Do you think Dayanara and John will figure things out?  How do you think Piper will react to Polly and Larry's kiss or do you think they'll keep that a secret?  Do you think Poussey will keep her feelings for Taystee on lock-down?  Let us know in the comments below!
