Warner Bros. and DC Comics are slowly expanding their movie franchises with Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice in May 2016 and Justice League in 2017. But according to a new report, WB plans to reveal a massive movie slate at San Diego Comic-Con in July.

Nikki Finke, founder of Deadline Hollywood, finally debuted her self-titled website on Thursday and her first scoop was a major one. She reports, WB will announce the following movies at Comic-Con 2014: "Shazam (July 2016), Sandman (Christmas 2016), Justice League (May 2017), Wonder Woman (July 2017), Flash/Green Lantern team-up (Christmas 2017), and Man of Steel 2 (May 2018)."

The only confirmed movie out of that list is Justice League, with Zack Snyder set to helm the long-awaited superhero team-up. The other titles have been mentioned as in the works in the past, but none of them ever came to fruition.

Finke goes on to state that the Metal Man and Suicide Squad movies are no longer on WB's slate. She further discusses what she claims is the true reason WB pushed back Dawn of Justice from its original 2015 release date:

"There will be cameos of superheroes for future installments. The cameos will include the already known Cyborg and Flash. Green Lantern may be introduced. And Aquaman will be seen in the Justice League movie. Problem is, Warner Bros. Pictures was still negotiating with the actors for those cameos and future roles, meaning major contracts for multiple JL/character films to follow. The studio didn't want to move forward until they had more of this secure so they held off starting production for a few months."
