World Cup Group D consists of England, Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica. So far, the discussion has surrounded which of the first three would take the two spots in the next round. Many wrote off Costa Rica, but as seen before in sports, underdogs love to prove people wrong. Uruguay fell to a humiliating, yet memorable World Cup defeat.

Uruguay were so sure they'd win they rested their recovering star, Luis Suarez, but the second half changed their mind as they started to consider bringing him back, however, they decided against it. It started as expected as they dominated across the pitch. Edison Cavani smashed home the opening goal from the penalty spot.

In the second half many believed Uruguay would see the game out, but Costa Rica went all out attack, showing a very different style than had been expected. Two goals in three minutes gave Costa Rica the lead, but nobody could predict the outcome from there, with both teams throwing everything at one another.

Both teams continued to fight, knowing that one more goal would be the difference maker, and on the counter attack, Uruguay lost another goal, as Costa Rica completed a memorable World Cup moment, beating Uruguay 3-1. A late red card for the losers has ensured they have it all to do against England on Thursday. Who will progress from this group?

Will they unleash Suarez against England, and who will win? The 2014 World Cup is already shaping up to be one of the best that's ever been held, but who will win when it's all said and done?
