A couple of years ago Raheem Sterling was a talented, yet troubled teen that Liverpool believed so highly in. It looked like he'd be another player that could become good, but cannot eradicate the bad in his game and his personality. In the 2013/14 English Premier League season the world was introduced to a new and improved Sterling. One who also made his way in to England's World Cup plans.

His goals and assists nearly led Liverpool to an EPL title, but instead they took them to a UEFA Champions League place. Not bad considering that was their highest aim before kicking a ball last season. His form, evidently, helped cast the eyes of a nation on him. Surely there was no better time to do just that in the build up to the World Cup.

Raheem was selected to go to Brazil and he impressed so many in friendlies and training activities that many said he should start against Italy in England's opening World Cup game. He started, and although they lost, Sterling well and truly introduced himself to the world. This once troubled teen is now well and truly one of the most talented kids playing football.

Sterling's pace, power and skills have ensured the 19-year-old will be apart of Liverpool and England's plans for years to come. Just how far can this talented teen go in world football? Is it too early to say that he could become England's best player, and possibly one of the top few in the world, or will be a talented player that peaked as a teen?
