Just last week, Miley Cyrus appeared to majorly diss fellow songstress Selena Gomez during a Bangerz World Tour performance in Italy - check it out:

And now, the controversial twerker is adding even more fuel to the Hollywood "frenemy" fire!

During Sunday evening's MuchMusic Video Awards (June 15), Gomez claimed victory over Cyrus for the prestigious "Favorite International Artist/Group" award. Apparently, the 21-year-old "We Can't Stop" superstar wasn't too happy about that. She later tweeted:

@MileyCyrus: "wigged woting wis wack wust wayin."

In plain English, she's suggesting that the entire voting system was rigged.

Sort of ANOTHER major blow aimed directly at Justin Bieber's ex.

But maybe Cyrus was just peeved in general - she also lost the "International Video Of The Year" award for her hit tune "Wrecking Ball" to Lorde.

The people over at MuchMusic tried to diffuse the situation, later tweeting in response to Cyrus' "snub" -

Do Mstars fan think Cyrus is jealous of Gomez's growing fame?

An alleged insider recently told HollywoodLife.com:

"Selena would never do what Miley did and doesn't really have any respect for her in the first place. She thinks Miley's number one priority in life is getting attention and she actually feels sorry for her!"

Ouch - should the two pop sensations ignore their differences and try to work out a friendship?
