Jennifer Lopez wants to act in films again now that she has a little more time on her hands. Lopez committed the past two years to American Idol and her music career, but now that she's officially off the judge panel, she's ready to pursue other interests she loves.
"I do miss doing films. I feel like the last two years with '(American) Idol,' I've really, really focused on, you know, my music. ... It was all kind of very synergistic, it worked really well together. But (film) is something that I really loved, it's how I kind of started in this business, and it doesn't leave you. I am an actress, I need to do that, too."
The talented 42-year-old is not slowing down, even if she must bring her 4-year old twins Max and Emme on the road with her. Her family and friends have helped to take care of the children not the road.
The twins had a chance to travel the world with mommy Lopez while she was on tour with Enrique Iglesias.
"From a personal standpoint, I just want it to be (an) enjoyable, healthy, exciting experience for us, something that we can look back on and say, 'Oh, we did this'," she said. "I don't even know if they'll remember, they're only four (years old) right now, but I want it to be something that will be good for them."
The most recent movie Lopez is tagged to is "Ice Age: Continental Drift" which topped the box office.
