What's a Pretty Little Liar to do?

The nominations for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards were revealed earlier this week and two shows stood out amongst the sea of teenybopper dramas. The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars each received five nominations. While most of the cast members would be celebrating their noms, one star of the ABC Family series decided to pout instead.

Upon hearing that four of her costars were nominated in the Best Actor, and Best Actress categories, Ashley Benson took to her Twitter page to comment on her snub. She writes "Every year...Same thing.

The series might be bigger than ever but Benson is upset that she isn't getting the recognition that she thinks she deserves.

Lucy Hale and Troian Bellisario both got actress nominations for their portrayals of Spencer and Aria on the show but Ashley was just very confused as to why her name wasn't included on the ballot.

Shay Mitchell was also absent from the category. Benson's best friend on the show and in real-life, Mitchell retweeted the comment adding a snoozing smiley face with the words LOL.

We might be the only ones, but we definitely think it wouldn't make sense to have all four of the girls nominated in the same category; at that point they should just create a new award, Best Pretty Little Liar.

This is the second year in a row that neither of these girls were nominated, and it might also be the second year that Troian takes home the surfboard for Best Actress. As for the Best Actor category, Ian harding (Ezra) and Keegan Allen (Toby) will fight it out to see how reigns supreme. Last year Ian took home the award, we will have to tune in to see if he can pull the win out again.
