Dave Chappelle proves that he is the name to beat when it comes to comedy. Earlier this week the comedian interrupted the Today Show, while promoting his sold out comedy show featured at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

This was the perfect location for the comedian as he added a huge line up of music artist to also be featured on the show. Anchor, Matt Lauer added that Chappelle was the NBC's neighbor.

The music artist scheduled to appear on the Chappelle Show includes:

Rapper Nas is scheduled to perform, Monday, June 23. Chappelle will has The Roots as guest, Tuesday, June 24 and talks about how he met this incredible band, and how he knew rapper Kanye West would be famous while appearing on The Tonight Show, with Jimmy Fallon.

Chappelle described the meeting as shocking. Chappelle had given the now husband to Kim Kardashian West his first appearance on TV as a musical guest on The Dave Chappelle Show, in 2003. “You could tell that he was going to be a star,” Chapelle told Fallon. “I didn’t know him until he did the show.”

While producing the comedy show, Chappelle, West, Jay Z, Common and Talib Kweli were listening to Jay Z's then-released Black Album at Chappelle's studio, when rapper Jay Z made a comment to Kanye about the track number 12 of the album "Lucifer," Jay told West, "Kanyeezy, you's a genius. You did it again!" Chappelle said Kanye did something that was shocking, "Kanye stood up. First time he spoke all day, and he goes, 'Stop the record! And rewind that.' "

He added that West took a phone call while the men were listening and said, "'Hello? No, I can't. Because I'm at the edit for the Dave Chappelle Show, watching sketches that no one's seen before.' West then paused for a minute and then said, "Cause my life is dope and I do dope s-t," before hanging up the phone.

Nothing really has changed, that's Kanye!

But back to the exciting list of music artist. Wednesday, June 25, Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier, and Janelle Monae will join Chappelle, and on Thursday, June 26, soul sista Erykah Badu will finish it off.

Although most of the shows are sold out, there are still a few lucky seats to be filled. CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE.
