It looks like people aren't on the run to get tickets to Beyonce and Jay Z's tour together.

The "On The Run" tour which kicks off in less than two weeks is apparently "selling slow as molasses," according to Showbiz 411. The entertainment site is reporting that the stadium tour looks like it could be in trouble, still having 11,000 tickets to sell on secondary ticket sites for some of the concert dates, including the July 11 and 12 shows at the Meadowlands.

It looks like the tickets even from primary sites aren't selling out either. A quick look at Ticketmaster shows that there are a good amount of tickets left scattered around the arenas.

Right now, for their 17-date stadium tour, there are tickets available in every single city and in every price range.

So what caused the two biggest names in the music industry to not sell out their tour?

Ticket prices could play a huge factor in this. While most recent tours have taken ticket pricing into consideration when laying out the seating chart, it looks like these two tried to charge as much money as possible to see them.

For instance, what you would normally pay on secondary ticket sites to see someone like Lady Gaga, front row, would be what you would pay to see Beyonce and Jay Z on primary sites, yet, you'd have to bring your binoculars because you'd be sitting in the last section. While some artists are only charging around $50 to sit in the last row (Miley Cyrus) Bey and Jay are tripling that.

Also oversaturation of the marketplace might also be a factor in the low-ticket sales. Queen Bey just got finished with her "Mrs. Carter World Tour," which toured for a year and grossed $229 million dollars. Jay recently toured in support of his album Magna Carter Holy Grail and before that he co-headlined with Justin Timberlake.

It seems that fans aren't looking to pay the high prices after having just recently seen both of these acts on tour.

A final factor could be that the stadiums are simply just too big. While they probably would have sold out all arenas had they done smaller venues, it seems like that wasn't taken into consideration when laying out the tour.

Also, the negative press the couple has been receiving lately might have turned some fans off from showing their support to the royal couple of hip-hop.

All we know is that, had tickets been more affordable, we would have definitely paid up to see what is surely going to be a memorable concert experience.
