Every year sporting fans are usually awaiting popular tennis tournament, Wimbledon, but its build--up has seemingly gone unnoticed this year, with many people focused on the 2014 World Cup and the NBA Finals. However, forget the football, this year's Wimbledon is shaping up to be a stunning display of tennis, with all the best players gunning to add another monumental title to their collection. Can British star Andy Murray rise to the occasion and win Wimbledon again?

The top contenders:

Novak Djokovic: Novak is a top player who is well and truly still in his prime. The top seed can win games with his eyes closed, but he seems to of lost his form in Grand Slam finals in the past year or two. Always a threat when on top form, but he rarely finds it at the moment. Could Wimbledon fix this for him? He will be a top four finisher, that's for sure.

Rafael Nadal: The star has suffered from injuries and drops in form, yet he always finds his way back to glory. He has always been a star at Wimbledon, and he will be looking to build on recent success. Nadal is the last person his rivals will want to face, however, with him in the best form of his career, it's highly likely the winner of Wimbledon will have to play and beat Nadal.

Andy Murray: The British star is the defending champion, but he has a new coach and is looking to add to his title, proving he is an elite star. With the pressure of never winning Wimbledon, he was always like to stumble, but with that of his back, he should use his home advantage and have a fantastic tournament. However he has not reached a final since his Wimbledon win. Can he defend his title?

Roger Federer: Roger is a seven-time winner and although he's approaching the end of his career he is still a threat. Wimbledon is usually when he plays his best tennis. He will be looking to add at least one more major title before retiring. Could this be the one? Probably, but he will have to beat the young contenders first.

Who will win Wimbledon this year? It starts Monday 23 June. Stay tuned to Mstars for all of your Wimbledon news.
