Christina Milian & Jas Prince End Engagement - Singer & Rap-A-Lot Records CEO Call It Quits

Christina Milian and her fiancé Jas Prince have officially called off their engagement The 32-year-old singer had been engaged to the Rap-A-Lot Records CEO since May of 2013.

It comes as a shock to fans who knew that Milian and Prince were in the middle of planning their nuptials. In an interview with PEOPLE back in April the singer was gushing about the fun she was having putting together wedding details.

"[Prince's] bugging me every day like, 'What are we going to do? What's the date?' And I'm like, 'I don't know! We'll figure it out."

The singer also told the magazine that she had been getting wedding inspiration from Pinterest.

An insider sounds off on the split saying "It's a really good thing for her." While it's not a happy occasion, the breakup did give her time to reconnect with her girlfriends over the weekend.

A rep for the singer has yet to comment on the situation. While Christina and her camp are staying quiet about the split she did hint to the possible breakup on her social media sites. On Instagram she posted a picture of her cuddling up to her newborn niece captioning it "rough day." She also took to the site to post an inspirational quote, which reads, "There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it."

Her ex-fiance also got in on the Instagram sharing, posting a picture that said, "Keep calm, pray and leave it all in God's hands."

Milian was previously married to The-Dream in 2009 but divorced two years later. They share the custody of her 4-year-old daughter Violet Nash.
