Honey Boo Boo Slaps Mama June During 'Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon' Appearance - 'Hostile' Interaction Cut From Final Episode

Honey Boo Boo is known for her sassy mouth but the former star of Toddlers and Tiara's crossed the line during her appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, earlier this month.

According to audience members, when Alana Thompson (Honey Boo Boo) and here Mama June Shannon were Fallon's guests on the late night show, Thompson slapped her mother. The interaction between the two was cut from the episode, we are unsure if this moment was cut by the request of Mama June or Jimmy.

Fallon who just became a new father was shocked by the incident, and audience members noticed that he tried to balance reprimanding the 9-year-old while also trying to stay funny.

"Up until this point, Fallon had been doing a great job of navigating Alana's weird behavior, but it was at this moment when he became positively awesome," Salon.com contributing writer and audience member Christy O' Shoney explained. "'NEVER hit your mother!' he exclaimed, in a voice that was serious with just a hint of a joke, and the studio audience erupted in applause. Finally, we thought, someone is addressing this child's attitude."

The audience members recall that after Jimmy reprimanded the reality-star, that she quickly turned "hostile." While we are accustomed to seeing Boo Boo's silly, and often gross humor on her show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, fans and audience members said that her charm was nowhere to be seen, and that her lines were fed to her by her mom June.

They also go on to say that during the friendship bracelet segment that the child star was very unfriendly towards the host.

"For example, the friendship bracelet moment seems cute and quick on TV, but in person, it was actually kind of agonizing," the gossip site reveals. "It didn't just happen once, but several times, and the more it was discussed, the more openly hostile Boo Boo became. And in addition to the friendship bracelet crisis, the episode left out some deeply uncomfortable spats between Mama June and Alana. You see it a bit in the broadcast, but Mama June was continually either answering questions on behalf of Boo Boo or mumbling answers to her."

O' Shoney also says that "The quick wit we've come to expect from Honey Boo Boo was nowhere to be seen, but instead it was fed to her by her pageant mom,"
