Back in October, Zack Snyder filmed some footage for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice at East Los Angeles College. The footage featured a football game between Metropolis State University and Gotham City University. Now, a new report indicates more football scenes could happen in the movie.

HenryCavill.org received a few images of the Dawn of Justice set and noted the possibility that some of the buildings represent a football stadium:

"One of the buildings has the 'S' shield spray-painted on it. It may be part of the rumored scene where graffiti is cleaned off the giant Superman statue. You can see that there is a cream-colored building behind the green screen. Our source tells us the giant green screen actually resembles a football stadium with bleacher seats!"

When Snyder filmed the footage in October, the studio had not cast Ray Fisher as Victor Stone, aka Cyborg. Fisher did not join the cast until April, and his inclusion is part of Warner Bros. and DC's universe building toward Justice League in 2017. Devoted DC Comics fans likely know that Victor Stone was a football star before he became the half-human, half-robot superhero called Cyborg.

It's quite possible, then, that these football scenes could include Fisher as Cyborg to help set up his appearance in Justice League.

Check out one photo at the top of the page and the rest of the photos here.

Do you think Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice will feature more football scenes? Will these scenes set up Cyborg's appearance, or will they serve some other purpose? Let us know in the comments below.
