Eliza Dushku And Rick Fox Call It Quits- Actress Drops Boyfriend And Moves From LA To Boston

Another one bites the dust.

Celebrity couple Eliza Dushku and Rick Fox has officially broken up after having dated for over five years. One of the main reasons for the breakup was that they are just from two different worlds. Dushku is a Boston girl at heart where as Fox has always been an LA guy.

The Bring It On star told The Boston Globe in an interview that she already bought a condo and is moving back to the east coast. "Rick's an L.A. guy and I'm a Boston girl.

She further explains her dislike over Los Angeles by saying, "Nobody in LA has a basement. They all have the obligatory storage spaces in the Valley."

While this is definitely a big move for the actress, who has lived in California for many years, she says that she's excited to get back to her hometown. "I missed my town and I missed my family. I'd rather be a little physically cold [in Boston] than emotionally cold in L.A. I just sort of come alive when I'm home."

"After living in Los Angeles for 15 years, I definitely grew out of being an L.A. hater, but I think there's a level of truthfulness and individuality [in Boston] that is refreshing in a business where everyone conforms to certain standards," the 33-year-old says.

Fox also talked about his single status in the media when he was featured as a guest co-host on The View Tuesday. When Sherri Shepherd mentioned that Fox was taken, the former NBA star laughed before saying, "I'm single."
