World Cup, Conan O’Brien: Triumph The Insult Comic Dog Takes On Soccer Fans [WATCH]

While the world is pretending to obsessed with soccer for a little while (well, some of the world), the folks over at TBS' CONAN are taking it upon themselves to focus their attention to the die-hard fans who appear to be completely smitten over the sport. To report on it, naturally, they chose their very own Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.

But he's not going all the way to Brazil or Uruguay to experience the craziness ... he's headed to Astoria, Queens in New York City.

Never one to hold back, Triumph takes to the streets of Astoria to chat with passionate fans of teams from Greece, Brazil, Columbia and Uruguay, delivering line after line of harsh, yet hysterical quips regarding both the teams and fans alike.

Let's take a look at just some of our favorites, divided by team, of course:

COLUMBIA

To a Columbia fan: "I think I see soccer as a metaphor for your life: little or no goals."

To a group of "100% Columbians": "Are you really 100% Columbian? Because a lot of people say they're pure Columbian but their actually 20% baby laxative."

GREECE

To a single Greece fan: "The only thing you've ever tried to kick is your addiction to Halloween candy."

To a group of fans: "Do you think Greece still has a chance? Not the win the game, but to get the proof for a Discover card? You see ... because their economy is in the shi--er!"

URUGUAY:

To a group: "Nothing strikes fear into the hearts of your enemies like the color of an Easter egg."

Triumph then went on to get into some heat with a couple of Uruguay fans after their team lost. Even then, the insulting puppet held his own quite well!
