Jill Duggar Weds Derick Dillard: 19 Kids and Counting Star Says "I Do," Making Her The First Daughter Of The Duggar's To Get Married

MStars News is sending a huge congratulations to Jill Duggar who said, "I Do" last weekend to Derick Dillard. The lovely couple have been sharing every moment of their courtship while on the TLC show, 19 Kids and Counting, even the proposal.

The Duggar Family shared photos of the special day via Instagram writing, "Beautiful wedding this past weekend!"

In this photo the family wrote, "Congratulations to the new couple!" In the video below TLC shows a video clip of the newly weds the night before the big day.

The parents of Jill talk about the difference of having a daughter get married verses their son, Josh who was the first to get married. Josh married Anna, and recently had a wedding/ proposal anniversary.

Jill's parents said that they are happy and sad at the same time, but think Derick is a great guy. Michelle Duggar wrote on her blog,

"It really is so exciting for our first daughter to be engaged. Even Jim Bob tears up quite a bit these days. He's so happy for Jill and he really appreciates Derick and who he is. We know Derick is going to make a great husband and, hopefully, father.

But, at the same time, Jim Bob and I are saying to ourselves, "Oh, wow." We're realizing our girl is going to start a home and her own family, and that's a big deal, especially for dad.

Derick asked for permission to propose to Jill from Jim Bob. And Jim Bob was on board 100 percent. It was really sweet, the night before Derick was going to propose he called Jim Bob and asked if it was ok if he held hands with Jill after they were engaged."
