Kate Gosselin might be in the middle of filming a two-part TLC special about her recent life but it looks like a new book is coming out that digs up some dirty into the reality stars past before she found fame.

Titled Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World, the book, written by Robert Hoffman will focus on revealing some dark secrets from mother's past. Hoffman dove head first into the past of this Pennsylvania native getting information on her by speaking to locals, checking public records, and even reading Gosselin's private discarded journals.

The story takes a look into Kate's very strict upbringing living under the rules of her strict pastoral father, Kenton Kreider. A sibling who spoke to Robert, revealed to him that the children were beaten pretty often by the father, and that Kate was even "sexually abused by a family member." This shocking confession made by Hoffman is what he cites would later lead her to a teenage life of rebellion.

"While in high school, Kate became pregnant," the author writes in the tell-all book. "This will probably be surprising news to everyone who bought her oft-repeated story that she could not conceive naturally. It was just one of many very public lies that she told to solidify her carefully crafted image. The sad truth is that Kate's father forced her to secretly abort the baby, which left her empty and hollow inside, and very angry. She left the home at the request of her father, who could no longer tolerate her rebellious behavior and sexual promiscuity."

Also Hoffman claims that this was around the time Kate hatched her "plan" to become rich by marrying a doctor, which is why she went into the medical field.

She enlisted in medical school to find a man, but the author writes that no one wanted her. She eventually settled for Adam Miller, who was working in a local factory. Adam spoke to Robert about his relationship with Kate saying, "I spoiled Kate with gifts, like a diamond bracelet, and a gold locket, and she loved that. I think one of the main reasons she liked me is that I had so much money flowing."

He also tells the author of the book that Kate was always "chasing the money," and he even found her in bed with a wealthier guy.

When her and Miller broke up, Kate moved on to her now ex-husband Jon Gosselin.

"Kate did pretty well for herself in marrying Jon because his father was extremely generous," Robert writes. "He paid for their wedding, he bought their first house in Wyomissing, and quietly supported them financially, giving them a large check each month."

Having now found the wealthy husband, Hoffman states that Kate turned her attention to gaining fame.
