Olivia Wilde doesn't hold back after a movie reviewer writes a scathing review of her latest film, Third Person. Wilde hits back at GQ magazine in colorful language for saying she's too pretty to play a struggling writer.

According to one particular movie critic, Tom Carson, the physical features got in the way of the acting. Carson lambasts Wilde's performance, not because it was terrible, but because she's too attractive. That's right, the Third Person actress is too pretty to believable as a writer.

The review states, "She's supposed to be a writer too, but your belief in that won't outlast Wilde scampering naked through hotel corridors once Neeson playfully locks her out of his room. With that tush, who'd need to be literate? Who'd want to?"

Depending on who's talking, thespians really don't watch the finished products of their projects. They either don't want to know or the experience of making a movie is enough for them. The House actress only knew about the harsh review from Jezebel, a fashion site.

So how does The Black Donnellys actress respond to these glib allegations that's she's too pretty to play a struggling author? With a scathing sense of sarcasm that's how!

The Tron: Legacy actress tweets, "Ha! Kiss my smart a**!"

The men's magazine even apologizes for the unkind statement on their official Twitter. Their tweet states, "We blew it. We regret that boneheaded joke in Tom Carson's 'Third Person' review. So does he."

So the mean-spirited statement was actually supposed to be funny? I didn't hear anybody busting a gut because of the hilarious lines.

Third Person, starring Liam Neeson and Olivia Wilde, is in theaters now. Readers, do you think Wilde is too hot to be a writer?
