The Walking Dead Season 4 finale set the table for Season 5, as the survivors finally reached the mysterious Terminus. Unfortunately, they and the audience were not able to find out too much about the place before its residents locked Rick Grimes and company in a train car.

The finale certainly raised more questions than it answered, but comic creator Robert Kirkman promises answers in the Season 5 premiere:

"There's a lot going on with Terminus," Kirkman told EW. "In our premiere episode of season 5 we're going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they're doing, why they're doing it, what's going on with them. And by the end of that episode you're going to have a much better understanding of what's going on with them and why they're so important to the show. Oh, and Daryl dies."

That sound you just heard was millions of fans gasping. In all seriousness, Kirkman did drop a somewhat obvious spoiler, but one that's good to know anyway:

"They definitely get out of that train car. They do not spend the entirety of season 5 in that train car. It is through ingenuity and creativity and somewhat savageness that they are able to make their way out of that train car."

Finally, Kirkman said he continues to write the comic and notes the current issues could become Seasons 10, 11 or 12 of the show. But for now, he's "just hoping and praying we make it to Season 7."
