Laila Ali & Rosie O’Donnell Joining ‘The View!’ [Rumors]

Now that ABC's The View is getting its own reboot, there are a bunch of empty seats to fill. The rumor mill has already started spinning, throwing in power-house names such as Laila Ali, daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, and previous co-host Rosie O'Donnell.

As reported here, network executives have a tall order to fill. Not only have comedian Sherri Shepherd (30 Rock) and Playboy model Jenny McCarthy (Dirty Love) have been given the axe. These two popular TV personalities will not be coming back, along with producer Bill Geddie.

It only looks like Academy Award winner Whoopi Goldberg (Ghost) will be sticking around, at least for now anyways. I'm sure the Sister Act actress would love to say as the lone host. The show would be all about her thoughts and opinions.

But, there is already gossip about who will be her new co-hosts. Those are heavy shoes to fill by the way. Well, McCarthy has been a pain since she first started the gig.

Several sources have already told TMZ there's a real shot that The Flintstones actress will be coming back. Producers are also "very interested" in the champion boxer as well.

Now that Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy are out of the way, ABC executives are already thinking of possible replacements for The View. The first names on their wish list are Laila Ali and Rosie O' Donnell.
