The Man of Steel's girlfriend did something truly heroic and noble. No good deed goes unnoticed as Amy Adams (American Hustler) gives up her first class seat for a U.S. soldier.

Proving she's actually an angel sent to Earth, the gorgeous red-headed actress spotted the solider at the gate of her flight. In a classy movie, The Enchanted singer gave up her first-class ticket and switched with his coach seat. Do you know how difficult it is to give up first-class and go back to coach?

Every good deed has to be paid forward. The solider didn't even know why he was headed towards first-class. ESPN's Numbers Never Lie host Jemele Hill was also on the same flight. The sports host noticed the honorable and expressed her admiration for the Oscar nominated actress on her official twitter.

Hill tweets, "Just saw actress Amy Adams do something incredibly classy. She gave her first class seat to an American soldier. I'm an even bigger fan now."

The ESPN commentator then tells ABC News, "As I was getting seated, I saw the flight attendant guide the solider to Ms. Adams' seat. She was no longer in it, but it was pretty clear that she'd given up her seat for him."

Adams explains to Inside Edition what compelled her to be nice person, "I didn't do it for attention for myself. I did it for attention for the Troops."

Adams' father was a U.S. serviceman stationed at Caserma Ederle. As an Army brat, she knows the sacrifices and dedication it takes for these soldiers to do what they do.

A human act of kindness definitely deserves a huge shootout, especially in this day and age of cold-hearted cynicism. Let's hope Amy Adam's act of good will towards a US soldier inspires others to do the same.
