'Community' Star Gillian Jacobs Teaming With Judd Apatow For New Hulu Series? '6 Seasons And A Movie' Definitely Not Happening?

According to a new report, comedy filmmaker Judd Apatow is hoping to make his mark on Hulu with a new exclusive series allegedly entitled Love and starring Gillian Jacobs. The young starlet is most known for her role as Britta on the recently cancelled NBC comedy Community, which was rumored to be getting saved by Hulu soon for a sixth season. But if this news about Jacobs' new show is true, Community might be out of luck!

Vulture reports:

A pilot script for the project, tentatively called Love, has already been co-written by Apatow,Brooklyn Nine-Nine writer Lesley Arfin and actor/writer Paul Rust (Super Fun Night). Rust is attached to co-star, and there's talk that Community star Gillian Jacobs - who has a recurring role on season four of the Apatow-produced Girls - has also been approached to star ... A person familiar with the pilot script describes Love as a character-based comedy revolving around relationships, romantic and otherwise, with one (very messed-up) couple in particular at the center. And, because this is Judd Apatow, the pilot script has a couple of bad words and talks a little bit about s-e-x. 

The article explains that Jacobs is still under contract with Community, but only until this month ends. We assume that once July 1 rolls around we'll be hearing more details on this project that can confirm Jacobs new show with Apatow.
