Once again we're hearing about Harry Styles solo career rumors and, of course, Kodaline is behind it. Should we believe Harry's songwriting buddies or treat this as more speculation around the break up of One Direction?

Earlier this year, the band revealed that Styles had been writing songs with them, and then the rumors started coming out. First it was bad enough to hear Styles was working outside of the boy band, but Kodaline kept pushing the idea of his solo career.

Now this week the band has stated that Harry could use one of the songs he showed Kodaline for a solo album!

"It was really strange how they came about," singer Steve Garrigan said, according to Digital Spy. "He just turned up to a show, and he likes our music. We had a bit of free time and so we went to the studio and wrote a song. It was good fun."

When asked if one song in particular that the group didn't end up using would end up on the new One Direction album (the follow-up record to Midnight Memories), Garrigan made a statement that could break plenty of Directioners' hearts.

"It could be on his album if he does something, but I don't know," he said.

Is your heart in pieces? Does this mean Harry will definitely go solo, thus putting a strain on One Direction's future?

Garrigan added: "Nothing is set in stone."

Well, that's kind of good news! We're just hoping Kodaline is spreading rumors to mess with us and none of this comes true!
