For now it's all about the Netherlands and the 2014 World Cup for Louis Van Gaal. However in a couple of weeks his attention will turn to his new duty, his role as Manchester United's manager. Despite being in Brazil, his club team have recently signed the young and talented duo of Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw. Here's a look at what additions their roster require and what starting 11 they will play in early August when they start their EPL campaign.

GK- David De Gea

RB- Rafael

CB Phil Jones

CB- Jonny Evans

LB- Luke Shaw.

CM- Ander Herrera

CM- Michael Carrick

RAM- Antonio Valencia

CAM- Wayne Rooney

LAM- Juan Mata

STR- Robin Van Persie

It's clear to see they have a talented midfield and attack, but two key weaknesses spring to mind when considering that 11. The defense is very weak, albeit Shaw's presence is a help. Experience at the back is a must. Also, United have too many forward options and too many players in similar positions or ones that will get reduced minutes in certain formations. Shedding some of the players from the squad may help.

How will this United 11 fair, and how many players do they need? Will United compete for the Premier League title once again, or will Van Gaal and his new players struggle to adapt to the EPL? It's clear that things cannot get much worse than last season, and with reduced pressure, possibly United will find it a lot easier than expected to become great again.
