'Destiny's Child' Member Michelle Williams Confirms Kelly Rowland Is Having A Boy While On BET Awards Red Carpet!

Looks like Blue Ivy will have to get use to the color blue, because her new play-date will be a little boy! That's right MStars News just learned that singer Kelly Rowland's first child with her new hubby is indeed a boy.

The exciting news was officially confirmed by Destiny's Child member, Michelle Williams during an interview on the red carpet over the weekend at the 2014 BET Awards.

We previously reported that Rowland announced via Instagram that she was expecting her first child with husband, Tim Witherspoon.

Rowland posted a pair of baby Jordans next to a larger pair of Jordans not specifying on what the sex of her child was, but if you look at the photo the color seems to suggest that the singer was expecting a baby boy. Thanks to band member, sister, and close friend Michelle Williams the debating of the sex is over.

"I'm so happy that I have another nephew coming to babysit for a few hours and give back to it's rightful owners," Williams revealed during an interview on the red carpet for Debra Lee's "PRE" BET Awards dinner. "She just looks so wonderful, I'm so happy for her."

Also included in the interview former Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett expressed her thoughts on Kelly's pregnancy. "To see everybody grow up - Folks is married, with children - it's amazing," she said. "We started at 9-years-old, so to see her now with her belly and everything, it's crazy to me. But I'm happy for her."
