Celebrity Weddings: Olivia Palermo Married In Secret Ceremony, Former 'The City' Star Weds Longtime Boyfriend Johannes Huebl

Olivia Palermo is officially a married woman. The fashionista and former reality show star said "I do" this past weekend to longtime boyfriend Johannes Huebl but not in the way that many fans of hers would have expected.

The socialite wed the German model on Saturday at City Hall sources for Page Six are reporting.

Many were surprised by the announcement as the couple was suppose to get married this coming fall in St. Barts, but due to visa issues Huebl was forced to move the date forward or he might have been expected to leave the US sooner.

"They were planning a big wedding in the fall, but Johannes left Wilhelmina Models last year, and he currently isn't with an agency, and was told he would have to leave the US in September," a source revealed to the site.

The insider continues by saying, "Olivia's friends were surprised when they got married at City Hall on Saturday, with the only guests being his friend Ulli Saeuberlich and her parents, who weren't happy with the rush, but decided to be there at the last minute."

Despite these marriage claims, spokesperson for Palermo, Barbara Saint-Aime is insisting that the couple is not yet married. "They had always planned to have a small civil wedding in June. The whole visa thing is not relevant. They have been together for six-and-a-half years. they got engaged this past January. They travel so much during the summer, they really don't have much time to plan things. They are not married yet. They are doing a much smaller civil ceremony in the States this month and they are planning to do something much larger later on."
